Cleaning
Cleaning is the highest-value habit in paintball. Done in the right order, it takes five minutes and prevents most breakdowns.

Remove the barrel
Unthread the barrel by hand and set it aside. Never clean a barrel while it is installed on a pressurized marker.

Clean the barrel with a swab
Pull a squeegee or swab through in one direction, repeating until it comes out clean. Rinse with water only if the barrel is fully detached, then dry completely.

Clean the breech and bolt
Remove the bolt per the manual, wipe shell fragments and paint from the bolt and breech with a damp towel, then dry and lightly lubricate only where specified.

Wipe the marker exterior
Use a damp microfiber towel on the body, grip, and feedneck. Avoid solvents, which damage anodizing and seals.

Avoid forcing water into electronics
Never spray, hose, or submerge the marker. Water in the solenoid, board, or eyes causes intermittent faults that are expensive to diagnose.

Reassemble and perform a safe function check
Reinstall the bolt and barrel, install a barrel blocking device, gas up, verify no leaks, then chrono before play.
